 2) Ronnie and Ken`s interesting facts about Japan
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Did you know???
1. Raised floors help indicate when to take off shoes or slippers.
-At the entrance to a home in Japan, the floor will usually be raised about 6 inches indicating you should take off your shoes and put on slippers.
If the house has a tatami mat room its floor may be rasied 1-2 inches indicating you should to take off your slippers.
2. Gift money or “Reikin” is mostly required when moving to a new apartment.
– Reikin or Gratitude money is a mandatory payment to the landlord that is often the same amount as the original deposit (shikikin).
This money is considered a gift to the landlord and is not returned after the lease is canceled.
3. Tokyo has had 24 recorded instances of people either killed or receiving serious skull fractures while bowing to each other with the traditional Japanese greeting.

Discovering Indian International Schools
– We have been getting a lot of inquiries for Funabori Apartments these days because their children will start going to
school. We have added Tathva International School, located around 6 minutes from Funabori station along JR Shinjuku line,
to our website. The school is also close to couple of UR-apartments such as Funabori 1chome and Seilor Komatsugawa.
